Astro 3 is an easy class as long as you prep for the midterms and final beforehand. It's all multiple choice exams, and the midterms are handed back so you can find old tests. The final isn't given out but somehow people find it. Don't need to read the book, print lecture notes and memorize! Also, don't miss too much class, he gets angry (reasonably) and stops posting lecture notes if you don't keep attendance up! Online hw was alright, just use lecture notes. Labs suck, they are graded harshly but K. Halford is helpful. Extra credit given worth 3.5% if u do a good job, either a show at UCLA or taking a trip to Griffith Park Observatory. (didnt take physics, was the only option for courses)
