Description: Lecture, three or four hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Requisite: course 40. Designed for juniors/seniors. Investigation of complex process of policy development and implementation in U.S., including roles of federal, state, and local agencies as well as private organizations. Subsections offered on particular policy areas, with topics announced in preceding term. P/NP or letter grading.
