Fall 2025 - Professor Cheng is one of the most inconsistent and confusing instructors I have ever taken in my 4 years here. She is extremely nice and attempts to try and “help “ you during the process of creating your project but contradicts herself most of the time confusing you more than you already were. Your TA will be your life line but even they are lost on what is actually happening that day during lab as the proffesor is consistently 30 minutes late and at one point missed up over an hour of a 2 hour lab course. After scraping together a project together and after making all the she had revisions given throughout the 10 weeks, she will send you an email saying she’s worried about your hypothesis, the basis and first aspect that was constructed of this projects which she has read multiple times before. Overall the workload isn’t insane but if possible I would steer clear from taking the course with another instructor.
