Cognition and Successful Aging

Description: Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 120A or 120B. Discussion of cognitive, social, and emotional changes that happen with age, how people live and learn, focus on what is important, achieve balance, and get better with age. Topics include happiness, memory, brain training, use of emerging technology, wisdom, humor, habits, retirement, and what constitutes successful aging. P/NP or letter grading.
