Intimate Relationships
Description: Lecture, three hours. Requisites: courses 10, 100A. Limited to juniors/seniors. Introduction to how social scientists think about, study, and treat intimate relationships, with emphasis on understanding how relationships change over time. Topics include attraction, relationship formation, conflict resolution, social support, sex, role of individual differences, and external circumstances. P/NP or letter grading.

Winter 2023 - Professor Bradbury cares a lot for his students and their success; unfortunately, he was not clear with his expectations when it came to the midterm and that hurt a lot of students. In order to make up for this, he gave us extra credit out of the goodness of his heart. The lectures were boring and reiterated what the book said, so going to lecture isn't necessary but the information itself is really interesting. Know that for the exams, the study guide sucks, and the best way to actually study is to memorize the vocabulary and read the summaries he provides. With that knowledge, the exams should be much easier.

Spring 2022 - This class is very tough, if you want an easy A this is not the class. The class is interesting but once you get to the test you will regret ever taking the class. The test are so specific and you really need to study or else you will cry during the exams. He is very unclear of what is going to be on the exams and when you ask him what is going to be on the exam he just says to study everything. The class include a lot of reading and the textbook is for essential to pass the class and is a little expensive. Do not take this class if you want a high GPA. Interesting but a lot of material you will need to retain.
