Description: (Same as Statistics M154.) Lecture, three hours. Requisite: one course from 100A, Statistics 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14. Selected theories for quantification of psychological, educational, social, and behavioral science data. Classical test, factor analysis, generalizability, item response, optimal scaling, ordinal measurement, computer-adaptive, and related theories. Construction of tests and measures and their reliability, validity, and bias. P/NP or letter grading.
