Winter 2025 - Looking back at my experience in PubAff 123 I learned so much! Professor Vestal is amazing and made the seminar so engaging. The class was so interesting since we were focused on the history of LA and you talk and reflect on things you know or learned and we all learned so much (Homelessness in LA, Water, Land, Boarding houses etc.). Participation and reading the material matters and at the end of the class you submit a final project on a topic that you proposed to the Professor. Even now I look back at this class and Professor Vestal to be one of the few great classes I have taken. Definitely take this class or any of Professor Vestal's classes if you get the chance!
