Winter 2024 - Take this class if you're interested in research! Dr. Kistner is incredibly kind, very knowledgeable, and open to any questions you have. Each class consisted of a lecture portion and a workshop portion, where we covered all sorts of topics, ranging from defining a research question to finding scholarly sources to ways of getting involved in research as an undergraduate. We also had student and faculty panels where we could ask questions to individuals currently conducting research! Towards the end of the quarter, we had a chance to practice drafting our own research proposal and exchange peer edits. Throughout this whole time, Dr. Kistner was extremely supportive, giving great feedback to each and every one of us. I can't thank her enough!
