Description: Seminar, three hours. Designed to expose graduate students to study of Southeast Asia as region across multiple disciplines. Discussions led by instructor and guest faculty members about core elements of their discipline's engagement with Southeast Asia, as well as latest trends in theory and research in that area. Reading of classic texts, as well as research articles representing current state of field. S/U or letter grading.
