Winter 2026 - I would never recommend you to take any of her classes. Even if it's tempting because it's online. I made the mistake of taking this class because of no other classes open but I've gone through it. I tried contacting her about the assignments and told me she can't do anything, I had to take it to my TA. Did that, he basically told me I was incorrect without explaining anything and even told me not to use her lecture videos because 'they were incorrect'. Explained to her the situation and she said he was right, that I deserved to be taken off the points. Mind you every assignment takes a good while to do because there's a ton of material. I chose to not interact with her. Then I got taken a whole point for not 'including the exact paragraph' of the citation, mind you it is not in the syllabus or in the announcement that was made. Explained to her that it wasn't fair and didn't make sense, and showed her proof that why they removed points isn't anywhere in the class site. She said "I do not appreciate you giving me screenshots of what you were looking for. You can just talk to me in person." Then she tried saying it was due to the rubric... there's no rubric anywhere so I told her "I don't appreciate the lack and transparency for your part, as students if you'd like us to succeed, you have to be transparent of what you want and we can't just guess every time." She replied with that students don't see the rubric because it's only from her side, so I repeated myself that it wasn't fair and she's not transparent about anything. I left it like that. Her exams are mostly on #'s and %'s of data, not even the reading itself, it's the stuff you tend to miss to understand the material better but she'll base exams on really tiny things. So please, I beg, do not take her class. She gives you an extreme hard time to even be at the level of what she teaches. She teaches about mental health and the lack of awareness and helping those who need it, but she doesn't practice what she preaches, it's truly a waste of time to be around someone who really lacks at her job. She will give you a HARD time.
