Description: Seminar, three hours. Designed to help graduate students develop regular and productive writing practices. Appropriate for students in their second year or beyond who have one full draft of their MA paper written and want to revise and publish it in timely manner. Development of regular writing schedules and protecting them from competing demands. Learning of specific genres of writing for academic journals, books, and op-eds. Editing of students' own work and that of classmates. S/U or letter grading.
