Study Design and Other Issues in Quantitative Data Analysis

Description: Lecture, three hours. Designed for graduate and undergraduate students who have had some exposure to statistics and quantitative methods. Introduction to study design, including experimental, longitudinal, cohort, time-series designs, contextual, and other designs. Discussion of suitability of various design classes for specific analytic goals, as well as their comparative strengths and weaknesses. S/U or letter grading.
