Description: Seminar, three hours. Review and development of empirical knowledge about doctor-patient relationship. Analysis of nature and dynamics of routine office visits, with focus on nature and role of norms in regulating doctor-patient conduct, role of expertise and power in doctor-patient relationship, and methodological questions concerning how doctor-patient relationship can be analyzed.
