Multivariate Statistical Analysis

Description: Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour. Requisites: courses 10, 20, and 101A, or equivalent level of discipline. Limited to Master of Applied Statistics students. Offers students working knowledge of basic concepts underlying most important multivariate techniques, with overview of actual applications in various fields, and with experience in using such techniques on problem of their own choosing. Addresses underlying mathematics and problems of applications. Reasonable level of competence in both statistics and mathematics is required. Letter grading.
