Winter 2022 - The professor places an emphasis on assisting any and all students, including immigrants, non-native speakers, native speakers, and beginners. Although you would have to have a degree of fluency in understanding basic conversational Vietnamese, he explains everything thoroughly in class, from the words you do not understand, to the meaning of each poem and literature prose. Each class is extremely personable so you will be participating and talking to him and other students regardless. He takes care of his students and works to make sure everyone feels at home and comfortable in his classes.
