Description: Lecture, two hours; discussion, three hours. Enforced requisite: course 3 with grade of C or better. Reinforcement of basic Vietnamese grammar and coverage of more advanced topics. Broadening of skills in conversation and composition; reading of selected texts. P/NP or letter grading.

Fall 2016 - Chuc Bui aka Quyen Di is one of my favorite professors at UCLA. I took Vietnamese 1-4 with him already and I'm planning to take 5 and 6 with him as well. He is so kind to his students and genuinely cares about us. I always look forward to his class. Some of his tests can be tough, but if you do all the homework then it should be a breeze.
