I took this class Fall 2020 during the COVID pandemic. Prof Moreno is a funny and nice guy but can be strict sometimes. His exams are 24 hours and open note. There are 2 midterms and a final. The first two midterms have questions similar to textbook problems, but the final was definitely more challenging. The most difficult part of each exam was the true and false conceptual questions where you need to often think of examples as a counterargument. I would recommend to study by doing a bunch of practice problems from the textbook and just searching up conceptual true and false question on google to practice. Each midterm was worth 20% and the final was worth 30%.

I thought Dr. Moreno was very clear and direct with his instruction. I took this class as a review of AP Calc BC and it was well-paced and not too overwhelming. If you feel shaky about your Calc BC knowledge I would 10/10 recommend taking this class!

In the beginning of the class, I was doing very well. I earned an A+ on the first midterm but as class progressed, I failed the second midterm. I don't know how I dropped so low. Although Moreno uploaded videos, they were of little use to me. I thought I could make up for my poor score with the final - I studied very hard for the final and I still failed. Moreno doesn't seem like a horrible person, but if I could take this class with another teacher, I 100% would. He never even replied to my last email concerning my final where I simply asked for him to explain a question I was marked incorrect on.
