Dra. Bergero is a super kind and supportive professor, even if you had no clue what was going on in the texts she appreciated all comments. She literally forgot to assign a midterm and ultimately just weighed our presentations and other assignments more, which was a seriously cool move. The course (which was about the history of Argentina) dragged sometimes with the more verbose texts about feminism and multiculturalism, but the course material got really interesting at the end and I was kinda sad we didn't discuss the contemporary topics more. Final essay was 6-8 pages about any topic from the course, and she gave us feedback on our outlines which I think really helped everyone for the final drafts. Regardless of what she's teaching, if you want a Spanish prof who values your contributions and makes you a better speaker and writer, Dra. Bergero is a good option.
