As far as UCLA econ goes, this is a good class. Interesting content, good professor, not hard to get a good grade. I will say that it's fairly time intensive just because of the emphasis on weekly group projects. You should understand the powerpoint slides well for exams.
Amazing and iconic. Her class is both reasonable and interesting. She’s kind and one of the best professors I’ve had, not just at UCLA, but across all my schools, including community college and non-econ classes. I strongly recommend her.
My review of other professors: https://www.reddit.com/r/ucla/comments/1gmshzu/review_of_econ_professors_as_a_transfer_student/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
From the first day of class, it became evident that Professor Lleras Muney is not only an expert in her field but also a passionate and dedicated educator. The course content, focused on understanding poverty and its practical applications, is not only relevant but also presented in a way that makes complex concepts accessible to all students.
One of the standout features of this course is the dynamic and engaging lectures. Professor Lleras Muney brings the subject matter to life with her enthusiasm and real-world examples.
