She is the best. She is very helpful, very passionate about the language, and the class is very fun. The class is very small, mine had only four students, and it is very engaging. I took this class as a pass no pass since I did not need the class, I just took it for fun, but, but if you put a little effort in it, you will pass it with an A. I would have gotten a B+ or an A-, without trying that much.
The class has a midterm and a final, two oral presentations, and weekly homework assignments (that you can retake as much as you can). There is no textbook, and everything is provided in the class, so it is also a very cheap way to get rid of your foreign language requirement. I recommend this class, it is very interesting.

I enjoyed taking this class with Aina. She's a very good teacher. I would recommend this class because of its intimate class size (there were only 12 people in my class), engaging lecture material (when we took a break from learning the language, we got to learn about the culture), and canva (which was free unlike spanish/french/italian which require a very expensive access code). I hope people who are interested in this class end up taking it because Catalan culture is very interesting and fun.

I love Aina!!! One of my favorite classes ever taken. I was scared before because I didn't know any Spanish but you don't need to know. She teaches it all from the beginning! Plus, it's CatalĂ , not Spanish. Similar, but not the same. The small class environment made everything so engaging and supportive. I was never afraid to ask questions or ask for an English translation. Most times I wasn't the only one with a question and Aina reads our confused faces easily and explains further so that's great. The class includes 2 midterms, weekly homework that you can take as many times as you want, and 2 oral presentations but they're very easy and doable! Aina will make sure you're ready and give you time to look at the prompt beforehand. Just be engaged and actually try and you'll be fine. I wish I knew of this 2 class series beforehand. So many people take Spanish thinking that's the easiest language offered but understand that the professor matters too and that it's not hard learning something different. Plus, I didn't have to pay $200 for a course thing!
