Quarter: Winter 2020
Grade: A
Feb. 14, 2022

This class condenses about 1 and a half classes into one. It may seem like a lot of content each week, but it is much easier to learn especially if you already are familiar with Spanish and even more so if you have taken Spanish classes here at UCLA. The activities were very fun over zoom and there is a required textbook that is very easy to follow through. I would take notes from the online textbook and it would take me a while, but you have the option to directly take notes onto that online textbook. The weekly assignments were kind of a lot, but you have multiple attempts to do them so as to get a perfect score. Overall, this class was super helpful at learning Portuguese, and Alessandra was amazing at teaching about the cultures and sound patterns that are prevalent through Brazilian Portuguese.
