Professor Lopez was so incredibly understanding of the circumstances of her students, and she was always ready to make accommodations if she felt they were needed. She gave out multiple extra credit opportunities and was always a fair grader. The topics of the class were also very interesting although some of the readings were dense. Overall I would recommend because of how smoothly she transferred her class to an online platform.

This class was awful! Although the workload was light and the graded papers were short and pretty simple, Professor Lopez is so uninterested in students learning and the lectures are awful. luckily they were not necessary to attend to complete any of the graded assignments for the class so it is pretty easy to get a good grade. The topics could have been so interesting but Professor Lopez is so unengaging and seems irritated to have to be teaching people.

Professor Alma was super accommodating and understanding of students needs! I really enjoyed how she didn't have any midterms and didn't stress note taking during lectures, but listening, to learn how to be a better activist and ally. Really enjoyed this class and strongly recommend as an easy, interesting, and useful GE!

This class had a pretty light workload and an actually interesting cumulative project. You create a wikipedia page for a queer artist and try your best to make sure the wikipedia page doesn't get taken down by using good sources. There are two one page short papers which seems to be graded pretty generously. Overall, this class was low stress, not too time consuming, and was interesting to actually create a wikipedia page.
