Amber is such a good professor! All of the homework is on the online textbook, which takes about an hour and is due every monday, wednesday, and friday. That's where you actually learn the vocabulary, and I highly suggest taking notes since it makes it so much easier to remember and study for quizzes. She does require attendance and gives a grade based on participation. In class she goes over the material and has everyone engage in french conversation, but it's nothing stressful. There are a few quizzes, but they're only on conjugating a verb and she drops your lowest grade. We had one midterm, and the second midterm she cancelled and just had us write a paragraph in french instead. The first part of the final was a group project where you filmed a scene at a restaurant, but she was really kind and only graded you on your work, not your groupmates. The other half of the final was a 15 sentence paragraph. Overall, a really fun engaging class that didn't require too much effort!
