Easy and fun GE to take. Light readings that don't demand much time. Class has three quizzes for a total of 30%. There are also two essays for a total of 30%. Discussions count for 10%. Final counts for 30%. Exams are quite easy, and essays are graded leniently.

Fun lectures with entertaining professor, but not mandatory attendance. Good choice if you want an easy GE for an easy A.

Definitely worth the hard work and readings because the TAs do reward you for giving as much detail as possible on the exams. Selling the hard copy course reader and On the Donation of Constantine for the class! Text me at 3235191933 if interested.

Class is relatively an easy GE. As long as you do the readings and listen along the lectures (which are actually pretty interesting), you really don't have to prepare much for the midterm or final. Assignments are also pretty straightforward, so I would not worry too much about the essays. I definitely would recommend anyone to take this GE. I am also selling the all the course readings (including course reader, "Portable Machiavelli," "On the Donation of Constantine") for $65. Email me at donnatopia15@gmail.com if interested.

Such a fun and easy GE to take! Probably one of my favorite classes ever taken at UCLA!! Highly recommend if you're looking for an interesting and easy A GE.

Selling the course reader (PDF format) plus the two hard copy books required for this class. Text me at 818.458.9145 or email me at megankras@g.ucla.edu for pricing!!

One of the easiest classes I ever took. The only reason why I got an A- was because I missed too many mandatory discussion sections. If you get the right TA, you will get the entire midterm and final in powerpoint format as review material.

This professor is awesome. Definitely a class to take. As easy as everyone says it is. I didn't read one bit and got an A+. Just show up to class and write down what professor says. Quizlet before the midterm and final. Reword what he says in lecture for your essays. Boom, done easy. Very engaging lecturer, highly recommend if you want a chill easy class. As long as you show up, you'll be fine - it can be a little hard if you don't show up.

I am selling the course reader (used condition), the two required paperback textbooks (The Portable Machiavelli; On the Donation of Constantine), AND the weekly study guide/quiz answers. Message me if interested; I'll probably still have the materials available since this course isn't offered every quarter. 925-980-9869

I got an A- but honestly should have got an A if I had worked harder. As long as you spend time on the essays and proofread you should be fine. For reference, I got a 75 on the first one (which was generous for how bad it was) and a 90 on the 2nd one. I was scared for the final but got a high A on it which I kind of don’t believe I actually got that high. The weekly quizzes weren’t too hard and the discussions were usually engaging. Lectures were interesting but I’m lazy so did not go to many of the lectures but it’s great how passionate Moudarres is about the subject.

EASY A. This is not only an easy A, but also a very interesting and enjoyable class. The professor and the TAs are all wonderful: they are so helpful, engaged, and dedicated. TAKE THIS CLASS. Do the work and you will be perfectly fine.
breakdown:
- There is a very easy quiz every week. Do the readings and check for practice on quizlet and you will be absolutely fine. (lowest gets dropped)
- 2 papers. ( 3 pages max) just meet with your TA before to make sure you're on the right track.
- final. 25 multiple choice questions (very similar to the quizzes) and 3 essays that focus on the main course themes.

To get an A, show up to the discussions, read, write decent essays, and then study a little bit for the final. If you go to lecture, you will not have trouble in this class.
