I had never taken a Soc class before this, but I loved every moment of it. The material is fascinating, and Prof. Wimmer is an engaging and organized lecturer. I highly recommend this course. Tests are fine so long as you do the reading and come to class.

Philippe was my TA. I do not recommend him.

Just take his class!
Although there are a lot of readings(and they are not easy!), the exams are not hard at all
just read all of his lectures powerpoint and go to section, then you will be fine.
And he even offers extra credit, so if you do it, you can definitely get an A!
And my TA was Nazgol, she is really sweet and helpful!
