Just kinda lame. Easy class, lectures a waste of time. The material is interesting, but all she tends to do is regurgitate the terms back at you, without ever bothering to explain their meaning or origin.

Of course if you're a WAC major, you'll have to take this class.

Both Blu Wakpa and Banerji as a duo allowed for me to form into the dancer I am today. Exploring how to create meaningful dances with strong intentions while also taking feedback and implying it to the means of work.

Yoga (Dance 11) with Ali is one of the best classes I have taken thus far at UCLA. The professor teaches you the fundamentals of correct yoga by enhancing your vocabulary and movement quality each week we meet. the classes are primarily filled with upperclassmen but if able to enroll, I would take it your first or second year. There are weekly reflection journals, a midterm paper, and one final paper.

Dance 101 is an amazing class especially if you take it with Professor Anurima Banerji. As an upper-division, the class explores concepts of body and movement from Dance 44, 45, and continuing the explorations of 67a and b!
