Spring 2025 - Do not be lured by these reviews. Expect an unreasonable amount of weekly reading, a total of 35-40 lengthy articles you'll need to memorize for the midterm, and a 12 page final paper that you will receive no elaboration on. Seriously, talking to him about the premise for the paper left me feeling more confused than before. I suspect the load would've been easier to shoulder with an accommodating TA, but mine in particular cancelled section frequently, was generally rude and impatient with the class, was not helpful in their feedback for the final essay (despite my reaching out to them on multiple occasions), and gave no one full credit for section participation. Oh, and let it be known that this guy is a Zionist and doesn't take too kindly to alternate viewpoints. If you're looking for a class to actually learn something beyond the status quo, then this is not the class for you.
