Winter 2025 - 105A was so much fun with this professor. You naturally learn and improve your vocabulary through class discussions relating to Japanese social culture. Since this class tends to be small I'm sure certain classes are going to be more/less fun depending on how friendly the students are, but the professor makes the environment much less awkward through her silly jokes. She does call on you one by one so it can be a bit nerve wracking at times, but she makes a great effort to patiently understand what you're trying to say. About 1 quiz a week and a couple group projects.
