pretty good class for those who like to program.
i liked it, it is one of the easiest cs upper division classes 'theory-wise', but pretty time-consuming 'coding-wise'.

if you go to every lecture, you should not have any problems on the projects (unless you cannot code cs31 type C/C++).

He is a great professor, but personally
I thought CS174 was much harder than
CS111.

Professor Law is one of the best professors in the Computer Science Department. He knows computer graphics like the back of his hand and answers questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. His lectures are insightful, straightforward and well-paced. I truly recommend him for programming and graphics enthusiasts.

Asish is a great professor of a great class (cs174).
He really knows his stuff, and communicates it
pretty well. If you want to learn graphics and
develop as a c++ programmer, put this class first
on your list.

CS 174 W01
Professor Law is competent and informative. His lectures are clear and straightforward, and if you attend, you don't need to read the book. He knows his stuff. He isn't around campus much, but he invariably responds to e-mail. I've been impressed with the class and would recommend it to any student.

Very knowledgeable in his field. Half your grade is based on project which are not too hard if you attend all his lectures. The only negative I found about him was his fast paced lectures.
