Truly nice, straight forward teacher. Yes, he's a bit eccentric and sometimes has trouble clearly expressing himself. However, the best part is that if you ask him to clarify he'll take his time and actually do so. This guy likes his job and loves to teach and it makes all the difference in the world. The class seems easy, but if you look back at the amount of work that you have done you realized that it's his teaching skills that made it easy!

I took Prof. Collins' class in the Fall of 2003 and I feel that every minute that I spent on that class was worth my time. He is very straight forward and doesn't play any tricks. When he says that the test is going to be one way, he really means it. He isn't like other Professors that tell you one thing just to surprise you later on. In his class, you end up with a finished product that you can be proud of. Unlike 100B, you really have to fully comprehend what you are doing in his class in order to make the grade. Professor Collins challenges you to master the material and helps you all along the way. If you are planning to go to graduate school in Psychology, you will do yourself a favor by taking his class.
