Professor O'Neill is honestly AMAZING!!!! He is so approachable and always willing to help. He requires a mandatory draft sent in of your final paper so that he can comment on it. This just shows how dedicated he is to actually teach students how to write. He is in essence making more work for himself by requiring these drafts because he ends up grading twice the number of papers. I have taken both of his courses and absolutely loved them!! He is extremely intelligent and knowledgable!!

I've had professor O'neill for two courses (PS 125A, PS171D) and I must say that overall he is a great professor. He has some faults, one of which is that he is unorganized at times, but this does not affect his ability to teach and provide an educational experience. He has a tremendous respect for the opinions of his students. I would highly recommend taking a class with him.
