This was a pretty easy class, GE wise, and also interesting for those first learning what linguistics entails. Ben tries his best to make this class engaging, but it does get a little hard to pay attention for 2 hours on certain things. I really struggled with phonetic transcriptions, but that was only a small part of the whole content and I thought the homeworks/exams were all very reasonable.
