Attendance was required and part of the grade :(
I took this class online asynchronous and that is the best way to take it. I had a friend who took it in person at the same time and it seemed a lot harder for her than it was for me. You needed 15 participation points (you get 1 per section you attend or 2 for attending the professor's zoom reviews) to get 100% for that (which was 5% of your grade). Quizzes on lockdown browser worth 20% of your grade (had two attempts and a one page cheat sheet for each). Plus, the lowest quiz score is dropped. The midterm was 25% of your grade and was about 25 questions. The final was not cumulative (only weeks 6-10) and also worth 25% of your grade and was also 25 questions. You got a double sided cheat sheet on the midterm and final (typed or written). The last 25% was assignments, and the TAs basically said all the answers to these assignments but they are graded on correctness (it was about 5 coding questions and 5 math questions) and the lowest score is dropped. There is no coding on the midterm or final. The lectures were like an hour of videos a week. Overall, it was a fairly easy stats class and pretty easy to get a good grade if you put in a little effort.
