Bob is the worst "professor" at UCLA. He's rude as hell and thinks FAR too highly of himself. If you looked up pretentious in the dictionary you'd stumble upon his very unpleasant face. This man literally tried to dock me an entire letter grade for missing class FOR A MIDTERM. I wish him nothing but the absolute worst. He was so unbelievably unhelpful and his critiques on our writing were incomprehensible. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Every other seminar had the time of their lives while we were stuck with him. Additionally, if you don't like/understand philosophy this is not the class for you. This class is unnecessarily time consuming and Bob is easily the worst professor I've had at UCLA.
DO NOT TAKE HIM. hes the absolute worst.
Myers prepares you for college. Everyone would always say how tough he is, but he is a great guy. Funny, engaging, and overall wants to see us succeed. He gives a lot of reading to keep as references forever in our lives. He truly shaped the way I think about the world and even my minor. Definitely a tough professor, but worth it.
