knowing the context behind the class a little bit makes me a little bit more lenient towards fulton. i understand that he was essentially given very little time to prepare for this class and hopefully as he continues to teach, he can become a better professor. i think enough students have voiced their complaints within the reviews and many i would agree with but disorganization, misinformation, and unpreparedness can be fixed in the future -- lets not forget that fulton is a human too.

Just to list a few reasons why this is the worst class I have taken at UCLA:
Inconsistencies in grading rubrics causing people to gain and lose points after scores have been released
Absolutely no lecture plan throughout the quarter, students have no way of preparing for lectures in advance and little materials to review after
Late to every lecture
Most multiple choice questions on midterm 2 were in contention because we were not taught material while only one question was omitted. TAs comment that there is no way we would know some of the material on the exam.

TLDR: Brantly was a terrible professor, but the class is so damn disorganised that you'll probably get an A if you just self-studied.

The man? He's a snazzy dresser for sure, this dude came to class with a different pair of kicks every day. Big Nike and Jordan guy.

The slides? Pointless, stuff you learnt in 14A at best.

The lectures? Don't go, dude makes up examples and proceeds to gets them wrong. Mistakes everywhere, he'll probably confuse you. (That being said, he was chill so if you had pledging tasks to do, this would be that lecture.)

The exams? A mixed bag, either hilariously easy or stupidly difficult. He doesn't really know how to write them consistently yet, so it'll likely be different each time. But there's hella extra credit.

The TA's? Heroes.

Brantly was an entertaining prof though, he made good jokes, his instagram captions are fire, and I would like to think he has a good heart. Has the potential to be a good prof.

I'm selling a molecular modeling kit for $20 dollars, I only used it once so it's like brand new with the instructions and everything included. Email me at *************

Emailed us at 3am the day of our midterm telling us he wouldn't be giving us the IR table he said he'd give us for the exam. Sick shoes, slightly less sick teaching skills. 5/10.

He was by far the worst Chemistry professor I have had at UCLA. During the lecture, he would often appear just as confused as we were and made many mistakes. When it came to studying for tests he would post information and reading assignments related to the test the same day we had to take a test. For example, for our second midterm, he posted the NMR charts and IR charts we would be using at 3 AM of the day we had the midterm. In addition, the charts were completely different from the charts he showed during the lecture. He would show up late to discussion sections and then mock students for genuine concerns. In addition, he has been very inconsistent with posting reading assignments and often says I'll post it next week, and then doesn't do anything for two weeks.
