I had him for Philosophy 100B.

I always have a great respect for my professors and often reason as to why they may have annoying habits or may be ineffective. Sadly, I can't understand why Copenhaver took a far too historical standpoint with 100B. The first text book was so painful; my TA couldn't even get through the work.

But, I do like him. Would I take him again? Probably not, UNLESS it was a smaller class. Our class was in Broade 2160E and not only was it freezing (during WINTER?!) but big and he couldn't even hear you. I think in a class of at most 40, Copenhaver will flourish.

Too much of an historical slant for my taste but I do understand where he is coming from. All in all, I felt like a learned quite a bit. Too many slides and way, way too fast.

Do not read on if you don't want to be incredibly annoyed for the rest of the quarter:

He coughs. A LOT. I didn't realize this until my friends pointed it out and now it bugs me like water torture.
