Quarter: Summer 2017

I took this online. It was terrible. I got an A and got it out of the way, but was miserable the whole time. I do not recommend it, even though it was very little work. I was so incredibly bored and unhappy!

This class was pretty easy. Basically you just need to skim the readings so that you have something to say in the lecture, which is how you get your participation points, which is 50% of your grade. There's no tests, just two final papers that really aren't even that bad. The TA is in charge of grading, I had Adam Fontenot and he was really good and an easy grader. I received an A- in this class with pretty minimal effort. Would recommend.

This class is super easy if you participate in discussion and vaguely follow what's going on - I barely did any of the readings and didn't watch any of the lectures. Highly recommend Adam Fontenot as a TA, he really explained things much better than the professor.

Honestly this class is the easiest philosophy class to take. Matt Van Onselen is the best TA for this class and I have had so far at UCLA. No reading is necessary if you just say some BS during discussion
