Professor Brian ia amazing! He has a great sense of humor that makes class engaging and records all of his lectures, which is super helpful for studying. Attending his lectures is better than watching the videos because he does practice problems in class, and actually doing them there gives you a chance to ask questions and clarify. He's very open to questions and answers them very thoroughly. Also, he usually answers questions on CampusWire (the Q and A website) promptly, so if you have a last minute question before a test, it really helps. Overall, I really enjoyed this class despite not being that into calculus and would take it again!

Shin is just the GOAT. Lectures are recorded and his explanations dumb it down to your level. Homework was super easy and quick. Tests were also really light. Take him for every class you can.

Brian Shin is one of the greatest lecturers and professors at UCLA. He is engaging, funny, and overall a must take if you can. His homework is really light, he gives quizzes each week that are easy to answer because the answers are in his notes. The exams are nothing tricky and based off notes and homework, and he will never give you something he did not cover. He also is generous with partial credit. B.Y. SHIN IS THE GOAT.

He's just a great teacher. Very good at explaining, tests are fair and accurate reflections of the homework. He is a super nice and approachable person, and he makes the class very straightforward. It was a very moderate level of difficulty, it wasn't super high stress but I still felt like I learned a lot.
