In general, he is a really good professor who cares about your study a lot and this is an super easy A class if you go to all discussion session. but don't take it for granted because you still hv to give a little work

About midterm and final, Professor Ellickson will tell you what kind of questions will be in the test before, they are just like the exercises. All tests are open book open notes open everything so you only have to review the exercises before the test (which usually cost me only an hour or two before the tests)

About the exercises (HW), personally I think it's kind of impossible to finish the exercises by yourself, but the TA will finish them for you so don't worry

However, I don't know if I am that stupid or the professor is too smart (indeed he is), I could hardly understand what he taught in class

I still find it "funny" that I don't understand a piece from this class but then I end up with an A

I believe I am not going to take the 141B with him because I don't want to be a dumb for another quarter and frankly, I don't feel like I learn anything from this class
