My Cluster 70A and 70B professors were Petigura, Jewitt, Friscia, and Brown. This was my favorite class all three quarters. The topics of the evolution of the universe/galaxies/stars/planets/life/ecosystems were SO interesting. I would absolutely take this class again in a heartbeat. It has upended my life plan because now I am debating pursuing a career in astronomy/biology/ecology. Brown only delivered a few lectures during 70B, but they were engaging and very easy to understand if one pays attention. Great class, great professors!

TL/DR: Brown is a decent lecturer and this class is basically a continuation of how 70A was, except for a focus on biology and evolution. For more info on grade breakdowns + textbooks and such, see the link (didn't want to clog up this site):

Compared to the other professors in this class, Dr. Brown just does not compare. Her slides are not clear and the review questions she posts makes it hard to follow along. She word vomits and makes it hard for the students to take in the information she's supposed to be teaching.

I really love this class, but Doctor Brown is just not the clearest with her lectures at times. This does not mean you shouldn't take the class-- the class is fantastic. Take it!
