The calass is entirely reading based. The readings are engaging but beware he gives one 400 page novel to read in a week. The book is ok but the reading amount is unbearable.

I took this class for FSP during the summer and Professor Fisher and it was my favorite class! He was always available through office hours and answered questions during lecture. His class is very reading intensive, but you could get away with not reading a couple stories since he discusses a lot of them himself.
Just be warned that participation is a large part of your grade, if you don't talk in discussions he will take notice and mark you accordingly. The group project is easy, his class isn't anything to worry about and you will find yourself enjoying it!!
Also, the readings are available in PDFs so you don't need to buy them :)
