Hands down one of the best professors I've had at UCLA. I just took her What is Blackness? seminar and I enjoyed every minute of the 3 hours. Like others said she doesn't do finals or midterms (yessss!) and your grade is based on 3 2-3 page Thought Papers, and a final 10 page paper at the end of the quarter. She allows you to re-write all your thought papers to and gives very detailed edits so by the time you write your final paper you know exactly what she is looking for. Her lectures/discussions are very engaging too. Unlike other professors she isn't afraid to go off topic and let the discussion lead itself but at the same time she knows her stuff to the point that no matter what you are talking about she knows how to make you think of it in terms of her class. Besides that I really just loved her ora and she just has a positivity that makes being in her class not seem like being in class.

Professor Streeter is a very smart woman, kind, very considerate, and open to a students concerns. She will work with you, even allow for a creative project if your so inclined. I did not find her to be at all arrogant as others have said, quite the opposite in fact. On occasion she is scattered, but brilliant non the less!
I loved her seminar and can recommend her to others!
