Catherine's class was terribly hard. Her grading was awful. We had three papers during the whole quarter. On the first one she literally gave everyone a C. Not a single person received anything higher or lower. On the second paper everyone received anywhere from an 80-85. She gives reading quizzes every week which were the only fairly easy parts of the class. She also expects you to read around 100 pages in two nights. Overall, do not take her class.
