I took this class for two reasons, one of which is that it fulfills an elective requirement for my major, and the other is that my lab is involved with the class's topic, so it was obviously helpful to learn about it. The class has two writing papers and one recorded presentation, using the rubrics provided I did pretty well on the first and perfect on the second (using comments given explaining my mistakes from the first). I thought Colwell was funny and was always willing to help. I definitely recommend this class, even if you have not much prior knowledge in the subject but are interested in it.
