Quarter: Winter 2021
Grade: A-

The way this class is structured for the quarter system makes it feel rushed at times and it would benefit a lot more under a semester system. Still, this is a very informative and valuable class for people interested in structural engineering. There is homework due every week except for week 1 and they're pretty long but the professor and TAs go over the concepts sufficiently. First midterm was a cakewalk. Second was absolutely killer and made a lot of students consider P/NP. Final was more reasonable but closer in difficulty to the second than to the first. Overall, this class isn't tricky conceptually and is very straightforward but you have to know all the nuances of the ACI318 textbook which is the hard part.
