I took 138B and 13A.

I won't talk about 13A because there's nothing much to talk about other than that his lectures are good. The grading is up to the TAs. Also, he literally gives you 75% of what's going to be on the midterm and final.

Regarding 138B,
Great guy; his lectures are easy to follow but he is a hard grader when it comes to essays. However, GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS. He cannot be more straight forward and helpful. He literally points out what he wants in the essay and tells you which direction you should head. Also, he is a picky guy with grammar, just revise and proofread before submitting your essays and make sure you don't use passive voice. If you follow these instructions, you are set.
