I am selling the course reader for mgmt 1a with Danny. Bought as $58, and now sell at $50. It is pretty new because I just dropped the class at class 1. Contact me if interested **********

Litt adequately teaches you the basics of accounting. He knows what he\355s talking about (he\355s been teaching for many years) and is very nice and willing to help you get though if you ask. However, his lectures are sometimes snoozers and it\355s much too easy to fall asleep. His lectures directly from the course reader, which is a good supplement but not what you should primarily learn from, and many times he digresses with his stories. Nonetheless, his class is relatively easy as long as you A) study the BOOK (and EVERY chapter he assigns), B) do ALL the problems he assigns (his test questions are very similar to the questions he assigns in the book, he even tells you that on the first day of class), C) do VERY well on the cases, which most students get over 90% (which he even admits are \354give away\356 points), and D) find his old tests. Overall, he's a very good teacher, but he's not offering an \354easy A." Study hard and you will get an A. Be lazy and you won\355t.

I took Litt over the summer, and I found his class to be a relatively easy one. He tells you everything you need to know for his two exams, so you should have no trouble acing them if you have done your homework. It's simple: know your stuff, do your homework, and you get an A. But, I have to admit that since he doesn't offer any curve (that is, his class is graded pretty much on an absolute scale of A= 90%+, B= 80-89, etc...), be wary of making careless errors on the tests. Or else, you may end up with a lower grade than you think you deserve. Overall, he's a great professor. I'd definitely recommend him.

Professor Litt is pure class. His presentations are always well organized and he clearly lays out exactly what he expects from you. His class has a very business-like atmosphere. He's also got a lot of great stories from his business career.

I've heard a lot of people say that Litt doesn't prepare you well for Ravetch. I disagree. Ravetch requires that you know more theory than Litt, but if you do well in Litt's class there's no reason you can't do well in Ravetch's.
