Professor
David Myers
Most Helpful Review
Professor Myers was one of the best professors I've taken at UCLA. There's no question that he knows almost everything about Medieval Jewish History; even the most unique questions he is able to answer in depth. His lectures were well-organized and interesting, and he is one of the few teachers that lets you ask questions during lecture. I knew very little about Judaism in general when I came into the class, and came away knowledgable and even more interested in the subject. If you're looking for an easy class, don't take Myers--the reading's intense and can be really boring sometimes, the 10-20 page paper was a lot for a history class, and there is no way to BS on the tests. But if you're looking for a class that is interesting, pertinent and fulfilling, with a professor that cares about the student's learning as much as he knows about his material, then Professor Myers is a must.
