This professor is amazing. I looked forward to his class every week and his office hours were always a warm little discussion. I took Jewish Studies 10 (not on the list) fall quarter and I would recommend it to anyone, and I'm not even Jewish. The tests were very fair and the only homework assignment was to visit a Shabbat service. In comparison to other religion classes I've taken at UCLA, this one had the best approach and was not purely historical. The class was very interesting and the Rabbi is an amazing lecturer - he never needed notes or lecture slides. The best class I've taken!
