Confusing professor that is hard to understand. I had to study the textbook before going to the lectures in order to comprehend what he is saying.
After week 5 I just stopped going and studied stuff on my own
Quiz are easy and midterms are nasty. Final is a joke because he made it so easy our year, but be prepared.
Also after taking chem 30A and looking back. Baugh is not that bad at all

Tests were super easy because they were made by the TAs, Baugh is a really bad professor though, but was a super easy A+

Easy A because the TAs wrote the tests by changing the numbers on homework problems. But oh my god Baugh is the worst teacher I've ever had. He's clearly just here for the research, doesn't care about his students at all.

Baugh gives out easy As. I never went to the lectures (except when there are midterms of course). My TA was not very helpful either. Reading the book and trying to understand everything can be challenging. But the good thing is he never tests you on the complicated stuff:) If you want to actually learn something, take someone else. But if you just want to maintain your GPA, Baugh is pretty good.

If you do not get a good TA for this class you are basically screwed. I was lucky enough to get a fantastic TA and I passed the class with a nice grade. However, I knew many that did not have a good TA and they struggled greatly. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER going to the lecture because you will not learn anything, I can assure you that. Stick to TA office hours, discussion times, and self studying and you will get an A.

The lectures are absolutely garbage. Don't even bother showing up to a single one. Just read the textbook according to his syllabus and boom. You've gotten yourself an A+. Absolutely a joke of a STEM class. The TAs are way too lenient. Good on you if you've gotten yourself into daddy Delroy's chem.

Honestly, this class was a meme. I skipped every lecture and studies straight out of the book and still got an A+. The TAs write the tests since Baugh cannot write good questions to save his life. If you can read a textbook, this class should be an easy A.

Awful professor. You cannot understand what he is talking about and even when you do, most of the lecture material isn't on the exams. It's like he is teaching you one course and tests on another. I taught myself from the book. I barely ever went to class and was fine. That is his only plus, he grades SOOO well. If you care about your grade, take him. If you care about learning, steer clear.

Easiest A in history. Don't go to lectures, because the TAs make all the tests and quizzes. Read the textbook and do the practice problems, understand how to do those, and you'll literally ace all the tests.

If you want to take this class to actually learn something, don’t take it. If you want to take this class for an easy A, take it. After about the third week I never went to another one of Baugh’s lectures because they were honestly pointless. Anything he taught wasn’t on the midterm or final and half the time he would go off on some tangent and talk about something that had nothing to do with the class. The quizzes and midterms are basically problems straight out of the textbook. I HIGHLY recommend just reading the textbook chapters and doing all of the practice problems at the end of chapters. That is all I did and I got an A+. It is tedious but the only way you can pass this class. Baugh is so bad he doesn’t even make his own exams, the TAs do so definitely go to discussions. His grading scale is very fair. Any points lost on midterms can be made up on the final. The final consisted of 8 questions: 2 from the quizzes, 2 from each midterm, and 2 new. And the 2 new were again straight from the book. So basically just memorize how to do the textbook problems and you can get an A.
